💚☘️ We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th of 💚☘️ We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th of March to honour the death of St. Patrick, who is well known as the patron saint of Ireland. St Patrick brought Christianity to Ireland in the 5th century and accomplished many great things in his lifetime such as baptizing thousands of people, building churches and training men to become priests.

St Patrick’s day was originally a religious feast day but now it has evolved into a global celebration of Irish culture. We celebrate St Patrick’s day by wearing green, going to parades and enjoying Irish culture.

We were honoured to welcome special guests including Van Phu Le (sculptor), Fr Nhan Le, the Hon Ben Carroll, Councillor Paula Theocharides and Fr Paul. The evening began in the church with a blessing by Fr Paul of our beautiful St Martin statue, sculpted by Van Phu Le, and the announcement of our class representatives. We thank our P&F for their generous donation of the St Martin statue.

Families then gathered to enjoy a wonderful array of cultural dishes. A heartfelt thank you to all who contributed—your support made the night truly special.

Multicultural Night remains a highlight of our calendar, celebrating that while we come from many backgrounds, we are united as one vibrant community. The audio featured in this video is our school choir singing I Am, You Are, We Are Australian.

Last Friday, our graduates Kara Murone and Aysha E Last Friday, our graduates Kara Murone and Aysha Egglestone, along with other graduates from schools across Melbourne, attended a special gathering at St Patrick’s Cathedral. The occasion brought together students from across the Archdiocese to celebrate their journey and mark this important stage of their education within the wider Catholic community.

Kara and Aysha were accompanied by our Religious Education Leader, Debra Athaide, who supported them throughout the day.

It was a meaningful opportunity for our graduates to come together in prayer and reflection, celebrating their achievements and looking ahead to the exciting paths that await them. ✨🙏

It was wonderful to see the children so engaged and enthusiastic as they explored early phonics skills through fun and interactive activities. They listened carefully, participated with confidence and did an amazing job.

Look how well they did! We are so proud of their effort and excitement for learning. 👏
