EASTER BONNET 🐰 || The last day of Term 1 was such EASTER BONNET 🐰 || The last day of Term 1 was such a wonderful way to finish the term! We began the day with a beautiful Mass, coming together as a school community in reflection and gratitude.

This was followed by our much-loved annual Easter bonnet parade and Easter raffle. The children amazed us all with their creativity, proudly showcasing the incredible bonnets they had designed and created. It was clear how much time, effort and care went into each one.

Well done to all our students for making the day so special and memorable!

☀️ Preps: looked at seasons and what happens as
they change. They took this a step further and explored how we adapt to the changing seasons, specifically how we dress. They used math in creating graphs showing the most popular items worn in summer. The beautiful windows drawn also reflected what they saw in each season.

🪨 Years 3/4: explored Rocks and Minerals. As ‘geologists’ they observed minerals in granite rock under a magnifying glass, grew their own crystals and researched the three types of rocks: igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary.

🪐 Years 5/6: learnt about gravitation and the planets.
Using the analogy of ‘totem tennis’ they created their own simple models explaining how the ball (the planet) rotates around the pole (the sun) and the string represents the gravitational pull. They also created dioramas about the planets, coming up with their own mnemonic to remember the order of the planets from the sun, such as: “My Very Eager Mother Just Saw Uncle Nick.”

We can’t wait to see what Mrs Villani has in store for Term 2.
SPORTS CARNIVAL 💛❤️💙💚|| Our recent School Sports C SPORTS CARNIVAL 💛❤️💙💚|| Our recent School Sports Carnival was a fantastic day filled with energy, teamwork and school spirit!

We commend all of our students for the wonderful way they approached the day—listening carefully, participating with enthusiasm and most importantly, cheering on and encouraging one another. It was truly heartwarming to see such strong support and positivity across all year levels. We are so proud of each and every one of them.

A very big thank you to Mr Vandrine and the sports captains for their outstanding organisation of the event. Our school community is incredibly fortunate to have such a passionate and enthusiastic sports teacher and captains leading the way! 💛❤️💙💚
WORLD MATHS DAY || This year, Saturday 14th March WORLD MATHS DAY || This year, Saturday 14th March marked the International Day of Mathematics, a global celebration of the beauty, creativity and importance of maths in everyday life.

Our school celebrated with a range of fun, hands-on activities that promoted collaboration, problem-solving and a love of learning.

Prep–Year 2 students took part in an “Amazing Race” on Tuesday 17th March, hosted by Mrs Conyers, working in teams to complete engaging maths challenges that tested their thinking and teamwork. Years 3–6 joined the celebrations on Friday 20th March, bringing the same enthusiasm to their own challenges.

It was wonderful to see students collaborating, sharing ideas and supporting one another, with their energy, determination and excitement creating a positive atmosphere across the school.
HARMONY DAY 🧡|| Harmony Day was a joyful celebrati HARMONY DAY 🧡|| Harmony Day was a joyful celebration of diversity, inclusion and belonging across our school. Students and staff wore orange to show that “everyone belongs,” while classrooms engaged in meaningful activities exploring different cultures and perspectives.

Throughout the day, students shared their backgrounds, built empathy and showed respect for one another. We are proud of how they embraced the spirit of Harmony Day, reinforcing our commitment to a welcoming and inclusive school for all.

It was beautiful to see how caring, gentle and compassionate our students were, making each resident feel valued and included.

A highlight was meeting the longest-serving resident of 14 years and the oldest resident, who had just turned 100. When asked her secret, she said “taking it slow” and even joked she plans to live to 1000 🥰
LUNCHTIME CLUBS|| We are very fortunate at our sch LUNCHTIME CLUBS|| We are very fortunate at our school to offer a wide range of lunchtime clubs for students to enjoy. These clubs provide wonderful opportunities for children to explore their interests, learn new skills and spend time with friends in a positive and engaging environment.

Lunchtime clubs help students build confidence, develop teamwork and social skills and encourage creativity and curiosity. They also provide a sense of belonging and connection within our school community.

We thank our dedicated staff who generously give their time to run these clubs and create such meaningful opportunities for our students.
